This jacket is crafted from naturally-dyed, handwoven textiles by our partner weavers at Lake Atitlán. Named after Mari's mother, Aiko, who kindly helped us develop the Japanese-inspired base pattern, this piece features a colorful ikat fabric (all naturally-dyed, can you believe it?) designed by Sedona Rigsby. The textile design was brought to life by the very talented natural dyers and weavers we partner with at Lake Atitlán. Garment construction was performed by Betty in San Antonio Aguas Calientes, with facilitation in-house at our studio in Antigua. What an embodiment of our collaborative spirit! The result is a cozy, medium-weight cotton jacket that’s perfect for layering, with generous pockets for added convenience.
The jacket’s relaxed fit, with no defined shoulder lines, makes it suitable for a range of body shapes from small to large. Wear it open for a haori-like style or pin it closed for a more structured look. Two generous outer pockets and a smaller inner pocket keep your valuables within easy reach.
- 100% cotton
- One size
